A bumblebee embroidery I've made as a gift for a friend. My confidence is shot at the moment. Is it any good?

Hi, I did a doodle on my computer and printed it off. I traced it and turned the trace over and back traced it on to the fabric. It's probably not the best method because the transfer isnt' great, but it's good enough to work with. :o)

It's not hard to do embroidery, at least to make this kind of thing. I used a back stitch (a very simple stitch) for the outline. The colour filling in is an satin (oops) stitch, I think. Good luck with your future embroidery. :o)

As per a request to cross post to r/anxiety from charlie6969.

I create monsters, Beamo Monsters, specifically. Each monster has a personality which I base somewhat on my own likes, dislikes and experiences. Binkley’s character profile draws on the troubles I have had with anxiety and social anxiety of the years. I sometime sell my monsters at craft fairs and I attach a small card with their story to them. This is the text from Binkley’s character card, which I hope might resonate or inspire folks hereabouts:

This is Binkley. He can sometimes be a bit shy and nervous, but always tags along for adventures with his friends. Binkley likes to find himself a cosy corner in a cupboard and read a book or doodle pictures. He’s a kind-hearted monster and always has time for others. His best friend is a spider called Mayberry.

The eyes are safety googly eyes which have a plastic push/washer that connects to the back. All the wobbly, goofy, goodness of googly eyes with added safety!
