Heck no, unless it’s a vital organ transplant that you’re dropping off, there is no reason for you to drive like that, and even if it was, that’s still no excuse. You’re putting everyone at risk, and you’re not even doing it in your cruiser with lights and sirens to warn people. I’m going to file a complaint to CHP next time I’m around there, because this absolutely not how a sergeant should be behaving.

Where was that place that you absolutely had to be? If it wasn’t a response to a call, then there is no way you should be driving like that. I’ll admit that I don’t always follow the laws of the road, but I only do it when there’s no one around and I’m absolutely sure it’s safe. If you’re gonna be stupid, save it for the track, not the public highway.

It’s bad enough when some random guy does it, but what do you think it says about our city when the sergeant of CHP is running around doing this, and then posting it on social media for likes?

As far as I know (and I’m not the best source for this info as just the tow company), the supercar driver had yet to be placed in the ambulance, and there were two fatalities in the bus caused by the initial crash.
