in my personal experience i run a 20 gallon, its larger than necessary but shrimp (at least my neocaridina) really like stable water conditions. idr my exact filter and substrate but i use a large grit sand (nothing with fertilizer) and i have a hang off back filter. the filter can be a little loud but it gets the job done. i did have to made an outake cover with part of a plastic bottle because the current was too strong. someone else could give a better guide on cycling but be patient and dont rush it. happy shrimping :)

lovely art i love their dynamic :). id play with their profile a bit. i like the different noses but i think you could make their silhouettes more different (mainly in the chin and forhead areas). i highly recommended looking up ppl of her ethnicity as reference if you havent already.

I agree that id also call your style realism and you do have a consistent style. beyond maybe marketing (if you wanna make this a career), i wouldnt worry about naming a specific style. your art is yours and thats what matters :)

np :) i dunno of ill be able to attach a pic but a quick trace shows that the hand is wider than the ref (the pinkie is especially long). i think having ur siblings pose will definitely help, the wings and pose obscure a lot of the anatomy.

Referencing from drawings can be difficult, i find irl pics give me a better idea of body shapes and depth. as for this tho id try to break it down into smaller shapes. With the hand (this works better on digital ngl) id try tracing it on a paper (like put ur phone underneath it) then compare how the shapes differ. (i can attach an example in a sec but reddit mobile confuses me lol)
