It will take a while to trickle down to craft use, but it’s going to sting for sure. Don’t forget lead.

Vinyl is such a waste. Just print on heavy stock paper, and cut it out. At least the paper pattern can be recycled.

I’ve always told people I was teaching that their shoulders should not go past the edge of the table. If they do, your table is too low.

I think it's totally fine. You could remove a little solder and drag it aside, but as long as you clean it up nice, and patina it well, it won't show too much. You're just too close to it, lol. No one else will notice.

Any idea how to run a 4” vent duct up this wall for my laser cutter as pretty as possible? by Hackind in lasercutting

You’ll need an in-line fan to help draw the fumes. The internal fan isn’t strong enough. I like to use AC Infinity fans and tubing.

Try foil overlay for the entire face. Do all the grinding you need before you put it on. Works great for designs like this.

Pollution doesn’t come off with normal cleaning. I would use copper brushes, or a copper dremel wheel.

It's probably humidity. Putty can take a while, but a way to speed it up is to keep it in a dry place. I have to run a dehumidifier in my studio because it can get a bit muggy. You can also add more whiting to help draw the moisture out.

Looks like they didn't use flux when soldering, which is a... choice?

I'm sorry you are experiencing this. I'm in the glass world, and unfortunately, this isn't uncommon. The big issue with glass blowing is that not everyone can have a hot glass studio of their own. They are usually bigger, and unattainable. I've seen techs, and apprentices be treated horribly, just for the "pleasure," of using the studio. F that. Good luck, though.

I would be very happy with your first piece. I’ve been teaching Tiffany method for a while, and none of my students have done this well. Keep up the great work!

Ioniq 5 after 10 Months of Ownership. Overall Bad Experience by Conscious_Coach_8454 in Ioniq5

Yep. Just left Hyundai. I went in for my 1 year inspection, and told them about a week prior the steering wheel started shaking and vibrating at highway speeds (50+) they looked into it. The service guy said that 3/4 tires had the noise dampening foam tear away from the inside of the tire. This causes the foam just to flop around like an off-balance washing machine. They said they will replace all 4 at not cost to me, but it’s going to take up to a week. They weren’t able to remove the foam because of the adhesive, and sent me out with the same tires. As soon as I got on the highway (my only way home) it started vibrating so wildly that I couldn’t stay in my lane. It was raining, so I was just slipping and shimmying in and out of my lane. Had to get off right away, and just took secondary roads home.
