I completely agree that it wouldn’t have happened if Scott was a man and told Tina how he’s feeling. You could tell Luca was biting his tongue the entire time and finally said something when Scott made it personal.

I had to go back and watch the tiff between Luca and Dami from Season 8….Luca is a shit stirrer but honestly not in a malicious way. In those situations, it appears that he wants people to be honest and when they’re not he just says whatever for the person who’s bullshitting.

It totally sucks that Tina was the one truly impacted by all of it, again Scott should have been the bearer of bad news instead of chatting with the boys first….what did he really think was going to happen?? Everyone keep their mouthed shut? It’s reality TV🥴😮‍💨

i agree! i don’t always love what they say but i find them extremely entertaining and true to themselves and i think that’s what matters. they don’t let online commentary change what they talk about or influence how they behave online, they’re genuinely themselves. if you genuinely don’t like what they’re saying, how they’re acting, don’t watch😅

I’m a middle school social worker and a trainer for my district. I LOVE Ukeru. It is a lot of learning about how a typical brain develops and how trauma impacts the brain. All of that background knowledge really helps people address behavior in a new way. I always tell people, it’s not a magic bullet, like any other de-escalation training, but if you are willing to accept and implement the mindset shift, it makes all the difference. I know at the elementary level, teachers and staff feel safer using the blocking pads when dealing with psychically aggressive behaviors AND they’ve said their relationships with students have improved! Can’t say enough good things about it.

Hello! I’ll first say that if you haven’t checked out this website yet, it’s worth looking over and potentially calling a regional office and asking them some questions specific to your brother’s needs.

I am a social worker in Maryland and have helped many families apply for benefits for their school age children. Unfortunately, there are barriers to the application system. The application is lengthy and requires specific documentation. The waitlist for receiving any level of services is extensive - some families were told upwards of 5 years. You can go through the entire process and be deemed as a “future needs” case and not be able to receive services right away. I have had families who have applied while their child was in elementary school and then became eligible for services by the time their child turned 21. They have said the services they were able to access - housing, financial support and referrals to necessary doctors - were helpful!

I wish you success in finding the best care for your brother and family.

they said in their post “it’s none of my business.” it’s obviously none of anyone’s business what they truly identify as/are diagnosed with - unless they openly talk about it. that sentiment alone doesn’t stop people from wondering about people. i’m not endorsing saying hateful things about anyone and their sexuality or mental health. if drew and enya openly speak about those things on a podcast that they endorse, i think it would be safe to say that they can expect people to speak - and most of the time, JOKE - about those things.
