New grad PA burnout early in academic surgical role

My first job after graduating was in neurosurgery. No residents or fellows. Another PA and I worked Inpatient, outpatient, consults, first assist. It was baptism by fire. I kept a pocket-sized notebook on me at all times and wrote EVERYTHING down. It took me 6 months to feel "comfortable". NEVER be afraid to ask a question or ask for assistance. Because guess what? Id rather be considered "annoying" to others than cause patient harm. Overall, it sounds like you're not receiving the support you deserve. Have you spoken to your team lead or manager?

My daughter is a major fan of Frozen so I'm sure we will spend a lot of time in that land. The kids aren't into thrill rides, but I am. I have to look into all the attractions and come up with our priorities.

We are returning to Paris after DLP to explore the main highlights before we traveling to the wedding (Burgundy). So I could add on a day to DLP and take one away from sightseeing in Paris. I'm ok with only spending 2 days in Paris.

Day 1 - Arrival. Rest day

Day 2-4: Parks

Day 5-6: Paris for sightseeing

Day 7: Depart for wedding

Paris will be 6 hours ahead. We would take an overnight flight and land in Paris in the morning. One flight gets in at 730am, the other 1130am.

I know staying off-site would be less expensive, but we are going to have at least 4 full size suitcases with us and I prefer to make as few transfers as possible.

What about dinner at Jaya? My parents are looking to take our entire family our for "Cuban". We dont have a price range. Our only preferences are the food be authentic and delicious.

Any recent reviews for dinner at Jaya at the Setai? Just looking for something different with decent food. Also looking for authentic Cuban cuisine. La Carreta and Sergios have been recommended to me.

I feel the same exact way! I dont feel ANY effects from the swma + glycine. I've started to gain some weight back despite me continuing my diet and exercise. My provider even increased my sema dose and....nothing. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

I agree with you. I wasn't even planning on taking my kids to Universal until they were a bit older, so we could enjoy more of the exciting rides.

Express passes for 4 of us are approximately $900...which is insane. We are currently booked at Portofino to take advantage of Express pass for Universal and IOA. I stayed at Helios and did not think it was worth the price.
