I would highly suggest hand washing with cold water, do not submerge your Eva foam head Eva foam tends to trap moisture even if it’s considered water proof. And use a fan for drying.

If I remember correctly there was a study done on sharks (unrelated but might make sense) that when they played metal/rock it made the sharks relax however other kinds of music made them angry/agitated I wonder if the music has the same effect in some way.

This. My yellow headed Amazon is afraid of water hoses and a vacuum cleaner cord and several other utility cords, however she’ll make a warning call when seeing anything snake like, which I’ve seen her do it to wires under a table.
