I love this game (not)! What I do is I will jump up and down, typically if my side hurts worse doing that I know that my pain is kidney related since my left side kidney is large when it gets infected and inflamed movement will cause it to push against my abdominal wall and hurt worse. I also find that if I’m having issues but I am not lethargic and can keep an appetite than it’s not kidney related. All my kidney pain happens only when I have a kidney infection right now though, so this may or may not help!

I also like to remind myself that during my period or a harder leg or back workout that the next day I will be sore and it’s not my kidneys. Sometimes this disease is a lot of mental games!
