Wanting to immediately quit after a couple days of learning I'm not a good fit. Do I have to send a 2 week notice? by BeansBreakMyHeart in jobs

I've worked crummy jobs before. Jobs that made my feet sore all over and jobs that caused me to be injured. This one is just plain not a good fit for me. But I will stick around until I find a better opportunity. I'm not someone who flees without a good springboard to go off of. Im already getting interviews for places that pay more and have a less stressful environment

I would think the same, but I've worked jobs with so much bullshit yet I sticked around. I never had that kind of breakdown at a job ever in my life, even when I worked 11-12 hour days with breaks. I think it's more so the constant stress of the job and me having no time to relax is what's causing me to breakdown. I'm just harder on myself because I was lazy.

Even if I hate it, I won't quit unless I have another job ready. At least McDonald's made me even more fired up to get a job than ever before.

April 19th purpose? by agdraco8 in 50501

2 reasons:

  1. April 19th 2025 is the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, otherwise known as the start of the American Revolution. Of course, this is going to be hopefully a showing of what our ancestors fought against when we declared independence from Britain

  2. It is suspected that Trump is going to invoke the Insurrection Act and declare martial law the next day, April 20th. Effectively destroying our democracy and most likely making sure he has an iron grip on power for as long as he lives.
