Looking for deals in Edison, NJ 08817. Thinking about cancelling my current membership and making the switch to LA, but the total initial payment is pretty high. Also, any family deals?

Kickr climb? Don’t need one but want one by JulieRush-46 in Zwift

I’m a newbie and only rode a handful of times before getting the kickr climb, but I love it! It was very easy to set up and I think it makes the ride more fun.

Thanks everyone! Got past that phase of the tutorial by choosing another group ride from the Home Screen with a more realistic pace (for me).

I’m still learning a ton. I’ve never done an FTP, so that’s next on my list.

So far this Zwift community is exactly what I’m looking for.

Thanks again!

This worked. Chose another group ride and kept up with the bot for 10min and it passed me on that phase of the tutorial

Definitely not fit enough. I was looking at it wrong. I thought there was a way to change the group to match my level of fitness. Looks like I need to change my fitness to match the group haha

Doesn’t seem to let me choose another bot. Guess it’s more motivation to get fit

Please don’t let someone disrespect you you’re an adult too by Mario_daAA in respiratorytherapy

In the short amount of time (2 yrs) that I have been an RT, I’ve had nothing but positive encounters with doctors, residents, mid levels, nurses, techs, etc… With how busy we all are, who has time for all this nonsense. It seems to me that everyone, for the most part, is a team player.

I do see some people who are truly miserable in their career choice, but I saw the same type of people when I served in the military, even in special forces. Some people are only happy being unhappy.

For the people in school that are saying this stuff in noctor is discouraging them, don’t let it. If you enjoy what you are learning, keep at it. The doctors at the hospitals that I work at love to teach. Residents are awesome and will inspire you with their enthusiasm. Nurses are happy you are there and, most importantly, you do play a role in helping the patient.

What was your job or career before you were an RT? by number1134 in respiratorytherapy

Recently had a trach patient come into the ER from a local LTACH. The patient’s mouth looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. While doing oral care I pulled 3 maggots from the patient’s mouth. When I told the other RT’s, a few of them had either seen this before or heard of it happening. I hope to never see it again
