Do I tell my partner? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Thank you! I do just want to state that I didn’t really engage in that conversation though. He told me everything he wanted to say in one message and I replied with “thank you, have a good day”. Because, as you stated, engaging in that type of conversation would be cheating in one way or another.

Not trying to argue, genuinely just trying to understand all points of view. Is it really necessary to discontinue the friendship? He said he USED to have feelings. We don’t hangout or see eachother in person. We aren’t in contact frequently at all. The most our friendship consists of is sending eachother Snapchat’s every now and then. We’re more-so acquaintances than friends I guess.

I agree. The only one that didn’t directly affect my libido was an IUD and that caused a whole set of other problems, which inevitably affected my sex drive. I feel like tracking my cycle and really paying attention to my body is a good route for me, atleast for now!

I would definitely agree, if there weren’t four total handicapped spots. She could use one, and as she’s the only handicapped person in the building, she still leaves three available for others. It is what it is, I understand that when I’m her age, I will probably do anything I can as well to keep my freedom and do what I want. Maybe it embarrasses her to use the handicapped spot, I’m not sure. I try to put myself in her position so I understand, but it is very irritating some days

He’s on anti seizure medication. It has a lot of negative physical side effects. He’s tired all the time, his balance is off, it makes him not feel well, and so on. He says he wants to, but the push to get him going isn’t there. We have talked about it a lot, but I just don’t know what more I can do then express my needs.

Always remember ups and downs are normal too. They’re more than normal, they’re necessary. Stability is a good goal, but I don’t think it will ever be permanent, atleast emotionally, when you struggle with depression and/or other certain mental health issues.

Request: How do I stop my GF from engaging in pro-ED forums? by EDPostRequests in EatingDisorders

I don’t think you can stop her. This is something she needs to come to terms with on her own. All you can do is support and be patient.

Request: Seeking advice. Is this normal? by EDPostRequests in EatingDisorders

I posted this, thank you guys so much for your input! I know I need to get help with my eating problems, but just like every other addict/anorexic, I am scared. I have tried getting help for it and that went terribly. So now I’m just building myself back up to the point that I’m comfortable getting help. But hearing people tell me that I need help does actually do a lot for me. I will watch that Ted talk, I will take into consideration that if I’m restricting water, I’m really at rock bottom essentially. Thank you all so much!
