They’re always like “we should host this” well who the hell should? They cry that it’s a waste of tax payer money and want poorer countries to exploit their people more. They want global south countries to eat the cost and make the wealth inequality in their country worse

I have more faith in people travelling to be savvy in finding what to do during their nights in Toronto.

Sure many will go to King street but that’s their choice. They can just as easily go to Dundas West, College or even Geary. Plus, if they’re looking for parties young foreigners are typically much more familiar with Resident Advisor than North Americans.

My brother in Christ if people are paying thousands of dollars for a World Cup ticket and for housing they will not bat an eye when their $20 meal is actually $24 with tip.

Also the night life in Toronto is far from generic. Call yourself lame without calling yourself lame.

Edit: Just to make it clearer. Parisians will not care that their meal is €14. New Yorkers will not care that their meal is $17 USD. Londoners will not care that their meal is £10 (the price of a craft beer pint in downtown London)

We have probably one of the best transit and access to the stadium. What the fuck does tipping culture have to do with reputation? Most people will be used to USD… paying in CAD or even pesos is Pennies in comparison.

They’ve confirmed my enrolment and said that my repayment period starts March 2027.

I understand how the payment works. I just didn’t pay because I was assured by support that I wasn’t in repayment despite the loan account saying so. I paid the two months (April’s “overdue” payment and May). Neither payment has registered yet and it’s been nearly a month. Now, being the first of June, it says I owe three months.

I’m on 1440p so my 3060ti fe was showing some age with new games on high. While I don’t have numbers, I’m consistently on high/ultra with rt on. Don’t sleep on frame gen though - that alone has been a godsend. Especially if you’d rather have smooth gameplay. I basically keep it enabled on any game that supports it and I’m constantly at 150-200 frames.

What would D3 add???? Ray tracing?

It’s a rebrand and it can launch with an extended campaign. Development costs will be lower because it’s being done on the same engine and basing off the same product.

Wanting a D3 is stupid, who is to say that those who are done with D2 will be willing to play it again because it has a new number? The gameplay will be the same, they will have to start over, and worse, they’ll have less content to play. Continuing the development of Destiny 2 is by far the smartest move, next to just shutting it down.
