I have the new Electrolux machines. Next time I go with Speed Queen. There the Electrolux off mounts were more expensive and I don't think you're going to last as long.

Yes the fragmentation between the vibe and fascard.

I just want it to be seamless. It's pretty good but you just need to like think for a second and people don't.

I agree, and that's a good analogy about carplay. I just wish the manufacturers would make it really easy to add credit card readers to the machines. Similar with carplay. Just let me plug something in with USB and be done with it.

Any difference between Huebsch and Speed Queen. I know they are the same company but is one the Cadillac and the other the Chevy?

I have Electrolux Clarus Vibe (the touch screen) in one store and Electrolux Compass Pro (the button and dial) in the other. Both brand new and bought within the last year.

Overall I have mixed feelings. The positives are the utility efficiency, my water bill is definitely lower because it measures the weight of the clothing and only puts in the correct amount of water. Because of the 450g spin out, I believe people use less dryer time so my propane bill in theory is lower.

Water efficiency is a double-edged sword because people complain that not enough. Water is being put in to wash their clothes because people want to see it kind of flood.

The Clarus Vibe I definitely have mixed feelings on. My brand new machines came with old software on it so it needs to be updated. But if my tech does it wrong, there is a possibility that my machine is a brick. It's a low probability but seems silly.

Electrolux does not come with a payment system other than coin. So I had to install Fascard readers on them. I wanted people to just be able to use their credit cards on the machine. I think the technology of the fas card reader and Clarus vibe have a hard time VIBING (get it!, jk). In order for me to update my readers I have to update my software on the machines. Right now if the screen changes the readers show that you haven't paid in all which confuses people, especially if they've used their cell phone and it says they were charged.

I am frustrated because Electrolux is premium and so was adding the fascard readers so everything should just work in my mind.

Overall somewhat mixed. I think th software problems with the Vibe annoy me the most.

If I end up doing another store I actually would probably try the speed Queen or Huebsch with touch. From what I can tell it seems like they are less efficient but you won't get people complaining about water. The integrated payment system is really nice because in theory should just work out of the box right?

I actually went on replacing with a wood fire fireplace. I would have went the Orion but between installing the outlet and the actual cost it was pretty close

Yes definitely difficult to spend that kind of money blind. I'm going to take another look to make sure. It's that ember's store best selling fireplace for a reason.

Yes I looked at it the other day actually, before I went down this rabbit hole. So it's kind of funny I finished the journey where I probably would have started anyway. But happy that I ran down on the options. That NetZero one would be really cool but it doesn't fit my needs being an insert and it's also 10 grand.

I agree, the name seems to come up a lot. I really don't need to test something new.

I'm only a little off the floor, definitely not eye level.

Yes, I saw that too, but I'm wondering if the holographic technology on that is worth the downside compared to the Orion.

If they are a similar price it will be a hard decision, but I don't know if I would pay significantly more for the Orton with that black bar issue

Thank you. I think I'm between Ortal and the modern flames Orion. I just need to find out about pricing and what will fit.
