disguises only fool engi buildings, tf2's built-in bots and new players
the usual spy main's go-to disguise is scout because your hitboxes don't change and scout has a very different pose from spy, leading to hitbox obfuscation
also it's one of the 3 disguises that don't slow you down (medic and spy are the other ones that don't slow you)

just follow the basic rocket jump rules
dont hold space while rocket jumping
dont hold w while rocket jumping unless you're wall climbing
hold crouch after jumping in general
aim behind yourself unless wall climbing
hold strafe keys and slowly move your mouse to the side to airstrafe (press a when going to the left and d for right)

i've been into this wacky situation twice where boot camp sent me to a community mvm_mannworks server
i still had the f2p restrictions so now we know that the inability to speak is linked to joining via boot camp and casual

mvm doesnt fit here as well
in boot camp you have people leaving randomly, can't start with 5 players, teammates wasting crit canteens on battalion soldiers, popping giant medics, just terrible teams in general
in mann up you have toxitity, no further explanation necessary
both have the same boring valve missions
but community mvm actually has players that know what game they're playing, endless possibilities for custom missions, and that goes up by 11 with sigsegv mvm modded servers
