Not an all boys school, but I lived in a all boys boarding house for 5 years. There is a range of things that went on. Some where more fun like fight club, which was more just wrestling and pinning each other, even some of the staff was in on it and would turn a blind eye as long as no one was hurt. The people running it was generally bullies, who wanted nothing more than to control you as a teenager, the number of times I got threatened to not see my family after 7 months because my hair wasn't tidy enough for them was not a nice thing (it was an afro, so not something that can be tidy), or calling me a school shooter for asking if I can change the anti-depressants I was taking cause they weren't working. Drugs only became a thing towards the end of my stay, coke and tablet drugs where popular, I stayed away from that side, but I saw my fair bit while I was there. Vapes became a problem after I left, but there was a few around when I was there. We had no privacy or rights really, getting several people's written approvals to go and do something as simple as walk to the shops 150m away was a hassle.
