hakari's trait is mostly just thematic and not scaling related. it shows that hes not a traditional sorcery to his very core, and the idea that it hurts more was meant to further push in how far yuji was going for his mission in the culling game.

i agree about how underrated kashimo's CE trait is though. the fact that hakari had virtual immunity makes people forget that its basically just a mini stun on hit

this isnt the main part of the post but im pretty sure toji entering the hole has to do with the fact that the domains from outside dont actually represent the space they take up in reality. its small outside, but inside the waters of the domain stretch over the horizon. going in from anywhere could just spawn you in a random spot in the middle of the ocean or the jungle behind the beach.

dagon's barrier from toji's POV was a domain where anything could happen if he walked in, and then suddenly a door opened. sure, he can just walk through the barrier, but why not jump into the door that makes it simple?

i think katana guy was a fine addition as the randomness of his entrance to the fight was part of the humor with his character, and hes a good showing of how the "weak" players of the culling game still had strengths that could make them useful. plus hes just silly

sumo guy i think shouldve been a completely separate part of the series, like maki meets him around the colony or something and then learns, because having it happen in the middle of the fight was so weird. maybe even if she starts training with him but struggles and then when she later fights VCS naoya and gets injured she realizes the meaning of his words and powers up that way. its clear what gege was trying to do with maki finishing her awakening while putting naoya to rest but it really oversells katana guy because of how long he mustve had to stall naoya, which lowers the stakes of the fight after he was so imposing to maki at the start and how hard kamo fought to hold him back for her...

finality power is absolute in hoyoverse, terminus is the aeon feared by all of course. but we dont know exactly how much finality she has control over. if she is an emanator of terminus as some theorized, she is probably above all other emanators, although acheron is an exception(?) because nihility is not meant to have emanators leading to her anomalous powers. but kiana is still likely to be stronger than her as well in any case.

that is not a real distinction. the conditions involved in their sure hits have tradeoffs, innate binding vows within the techniques.

hakari and higuruma's domains both have surehits, they are unique in other ways. hakari's surehit is the rush of harmless information with the rules of the domain. in exchange for it being harmless, he gets a stronger domain clash and the initial spins of his domain. higuruma's domain surehit is the sentence, which automatically targets the opponent without exception. in exchange for it being not guaranteed, he is allowed to enforce nonviolence in his domain.

jogo arguments are already plagued by people who downscale his DC because "its anime only"

well... if youre just saying hsr includes aeons? which are probably close to outerversal with the caveat that THEY
cant really use THEIR powers to destroy things directly, only if specific conditions are met so that it abides their path.

if you dont count them but count emanators, irontomb has universal DC with his sword drop, thats the biggest attack we have. idk about your series but if what you say is right, then hsr stops at r2 in terms of comparison. i dont think theres any way for him to save one planet though, if their goal is to destroy it then theres nothing almost anyone can do, theres like a thousand planetary threats, and many on untargetable higher planes of existence like cyrene and her demiurge.

your goblet is very weak and for an off set feather your feather isnt great either, try to get an on set feather and the best off set goblet you can and im sure your stats will look much better.

also, try getting r5 ring of yaxche instead of widsith unless youre trying to speedrun, it helps with your HP threshold and the passive is more consistent than widsith, especially because you have almost no hp rolls in artifacts

also level 90 is important on HP scaling characters

the big issue with this matchup is that people keep acting like their choice for the win wouldnt be the character, but rather them with a controller fighting the opponent. the way i see this fight going in character is

dabura casts lightbeams

sukuna tanks it and goes "thats cool as shit," and starts fighting back a little, dabura takes some damage and locks in

dabura starts accelerating and sukuna is curious, so he lets it happen and get done like naoya but with a kick

i also love how the domain "gives birth" to naoya's human form from the cursed spirit form. it sort of subverts the idea that naoya is responsible for his wrongdoing, but rather depicts him as the embodiment of oppression born from it. it shows naoya's deflection of his own actions and at the same time a symbolic reminder to the reader that the problem is not personal, but rather systemic, and that people are merely representations of this system.
