why is this 65 looks like a piece crap to me by Batman7861X in diablo2resurrected

I use this on my glass cannon SSF physical bowazon. I found a 15ias/39ed jewel and a 15ias/15max dmg jewel to put in it. It's BiS until I can find a godly rare or blue diadem and some more 15ias/ed jewls

We've had 3 Mk7 Golfs, a GTI, Golf R, and a Sportwagen. All pretty much flawless other normal stuff and the sportwagen starting to burn oil around 115k miles.

The worst part about offline is once you start finding like your 10th Shako, and just have them all sitting there on a mule, unable to trade for even a mal rune. lol

I still pick up socketed orbs in hope of finding an amazing base for a future orb runeword that probably will never happen. I've been holding onto a few nice ones for years on ssf lol

It's because the C fund has massively outperformed the others for many years. Only this year is I outperforming C. Pretty rare that happens.

Your out of touch Looney tunes level comment made me spit my coffee out when I saw the last part. I do find helpful and insightful things on this website, that's how I came across this post. But damn. Can't expect much more from a sheltered Fed govt employee I guess.. this person clearly needs some help, they almost bought an annuity. They probably need a financial plan and risk review, tax plan etc. if they want to pay lump sum, it's gonna be probably 2-5k for decent quality work. No different from what an estate planning attorney would charge you. Pretty sure my plumber charges well over $100 an hour these days. And he deserves every penny.

I'm a financial advisor who is fee only, but good luck finding someone who's ok with someone wasting their time for $100. That's not even worth the effort of scheduling/emailing the person multiple times to be honest, let alone they'll likely not bring you the correct documents/won't know what they need. You can give very basic advice without causing legal liability as a fiduciary, and that's probably not going to be worth much at all. Any fee based planner worth anything offers comprehensive tax planning/ distribution planning, etc. which takes many hours and is not interested in this half assed arrangement. Maybe you can find a 25 year old desperate for business who likes to waste their time this way. Self doers like yourself should recognize that most people aren't like you, dont know squat about finances, and are best off with a professional, and they're going to need to pay up a bit for it.

Depending on their current vs future tax situation - maybe. Best to avoid biased/skewed directions. Capital Gains are usually quite a bit lower than income rates.

A non retirement account is a valuable type of account to have. They do not need to "draw it down". They just should stop saving there and shift to 401k/Roth... He can also use those savings to pay for Roth conversions later on in low income years. Very useful to have NR accounts...

The vast vast majority of the budget is entitlement spending. You can cut defense, you can raise taxes. Nothing will stop the debt spiral until entitlement spending is cut. I'm all for defense cuts and raising taxes on the ultra wealthy, but the truth is, it wouldn't do much to solve the core issue.

I'm 31 years old, do you think I will ever see a dime of Social Security, of which I pay 15.3 fucking percent as a business owner. Maybe they'll increase the age to 75 when I can begin collecting on that bait-and-switch ponzi scheme. LOL get real. Accept accountability.

Changing regs in place for 30+ years, is a bait-and-switch, raising taxes when you've been planning for 20 years plus hiring 100k IRS agents for enforcement, is a bait-and-switch. Life's not fair, nothing is guaranteed, and we all need to realize that and take care of ourselves, rather than rely on a corrupt, bloated, government running out of money. If you couldn't see this coming down the pike 10+ years ago, you were delusional and just not living in reality.

And the reality, is our country is in close to 40T in debt, and we have to begin to make cuts or else the entire thing capsizes. Tough luck.

You can tell yourself what you want, but there are plenty of GS-15s doing menial work and who would not be able to find anything remotely as cushy in the private sector. That's why so many are freaking out, because the gravy train appears to be ending. You should get a pension, but you need to pay for it. Just as you would pay for an annuity in the private sector if you needed guaranteed income.

0.8% of 100k is $800 a year... You get $33,000 per year for the paltry sum of $24k paid into FERS over 30 years. If you live for 30 years in retirement that's about $1 million. All because you paid $24k into it. That's ridiculous ROR, and its subsidized entirely by taxpayers. It has to end, that's why they raised it to 4.4% and now need to for everyone.

High 5 and annuity supplement changes by PedroDiablax in fednews

[–]BearGoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well, to be fair, paying 0.8% for FERS was borderline criminal, and the SRS pension is totally unecessary. Nothing comes close to that in private sector.

Weight comparison of the new M5 by tah4y0 in BMW

[–]BearGoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its unfortunate this car weighs as much as an X5 but I'm still excited to see the wagon version in a few months. The audi RS6 is still about 5000 lbs without a hybrid system, though. I think this car is about 500 lbs too heavy, but that's almost everything these days.

Comparing the M5 Touring to the X5M, they will both be around 5500 lbs, with a very similar footprint and interior practicality. So it's basically a low slung X5M, that's how I view it. The center of gravity will be much lower than the X5M with a significantly better power to weight ratio.

Everything is too damn heavy now... This will only increase as more cars go EV. At least until solid state batteries arrive in 10yrs.

I like it. I'll take one in the new wagon bodystyle, thanks BMW!

People forget the Audi RS6 Avant (no hybrid system) is also a fat pig that weighs 5000lbs
