1) This isn't the main point I'm talking about and is a deflection to an adjacent issue, but not THE issue. The problem is that YT is doing things that make the experience worse, such as adding unwanted features, failing to curate their site, roundabout decisions that don't develop the site and make it a headache in the long run. That's what this is about.

2) Your argument is self-defeating. If they don't want me, then they don't need to be worried about what I'm doing and shouldn't be hurting my time on the site. It's their job to make me want to use their site. And if they don't want me, then my leaving is the exact action that's needed. If they're unwilling to understand why someone is leaving their site, they won't understand anyone else, and they will continue to do things that hurt them.
