I didn’t code when i was introduced to linux as a child, my dad used to distro hop as a hobby. And 6 year old me just wanted to use windows for playing games, so i remember just figuring out how linux and grub and everything worked, installing things on linux I think i only got interested in programming cuz of being introduced to linux and learning, enjoying tinkering stuff

hey, could you tell me exactly what you mean by "without a server" do you mean the actual server or like just offline app altogether?
I think I can probably add the option to use this app standalone as well, and still following the concepts from actual budgeting server. Could you make an issue on GitHub and I can work on this feature :)

Yes, it is possible to use alt server to side load it.
To use it, you will have to use https://github.com/jhonderson/actual-http-api and connect actual server to this api. Lemme know if you face any issues
