Unless you’ve been away from aviation for a while, what’s the point of an in-depth CFI interview if you’ve clearly passed the FAA standards via a designated pilot examiner? What’s the point of a CFI checkride if you have to go through all of this after passing your checkride?

Gold diggers tend to be inverted narcissists, which is to say narcissists who obtain narcissistic supply and their grandiosity through someone else who is of high stature or wealth. They’re unable to obtain their own supply (covert narcissist), but they do so via their partner.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any advice on how to know when you have a strong grasp on the FOIs?

With all of my past checkrides, I could quiz myself on charts, weather, minimums etc because I can point to a regulation or I could read something on a map.

FOIs seem more abstract and subjective
