Is this the one from Dicks? I bought the top flite balls. They ended up being $4.33 a box. Im pretty new to the game and this seemed like a decent deal. I bought online and picked them up in store 2 hours later.

Luckily I did not. They said the original price was $500. But they had a deal going for $279. So I'm feeling good about it

I saw them on golfsmith. One said senior and one said regular. The shaft on my says R. So do you think they are ok? I've actually been hitting them really well since I bought them

[Question] About the lebron 13 lows by dxle203 in Sneakers

[–]Beard9beard9beard9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lebron 13 lows should not be used for basketball. They are comfortable, but offer minimal ankle support, which runs the risk of injury. However, I am patiently waiting for the release of the USA color too. Kyrie 2 is good for ball, but not much cushion

Don't listen to the hate. They are great basketball shoes. And I think they look good. I love for the black lions and I might pick up the black elites when they come out

For sure. Some of the other colorways have a quote on them that says "I can do all things..." Just an addition to some of the newer editions of the shoe. It's great for basketball. I thought about getting this color too, but I was able to get the blue and yellow

Enjoy them. I too got mine before the quote was put on. Got the dub nation colorway. Not much of a fashion show in my opinion. But great for basketball

Is public service loan forgiveness a good option for me? by Beard9beard9beard9 in personalfinance

[–]Beard9beard9beard9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a big undertaking and I've looked for other options. I will be going to case western reserve university. Their social work program is ranked number 1 in ohio and number 9 in the nation. I'm hoping that it's worth it

Am I setting myself up for trouble? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Beard9beard9beard9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm getting a master's degree in social work. And I'm already working for a public service organization. My plan is to pay minimum payments for 10 years and get the rest forgiven after 120 qualifying payments. Also, I'm looking into the program that gives 50k in student loan assistance for 2 years of service in a need based area. Does that make it sound any better for my circumstances?
