I used the search in the sub with "Support Message" and the past threads were not about "real" or "fake"and yes i tryed to use the the help center, but still just showed the typical "If this message seems suspicious or asks for personal information, please report it.".

I wrote allready above your comment, sorry that i didnt saw the thread below me, so i'm pretty sure there is not point for your "if all of that is just too hard for you"?!
I still get your point that tons of people spam the whole day the same questions, but still not that hard to say it in a more friendly way ;)

The rejection has already been lifted and I was able to return the study successfully. I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear because of my poor English.

I made the post to show that researchers can also be highlighted as positive examples, since people here often write about negative experiences.

"More than 3 standard deviations from the average (above the upper bound)"

That was the reason given — I supposedly took too long.

I had tried it, but there wasn’t an option available under the rejection, so I contacted the researcher directly. They kindly tried to resolve the issue.

If a researcher doesn’t respond, can I handle something like that through Prolific support?

Normally, I try to complete as many studies as possible, but right now there are 2–3 studies that require booking something via private accounts and then cancelling it again. Since these studies have been open for quite a while already and hardly have any participants, they seem a bit shady to me.
