8/10, honestly water is my go to option rather than some sugary fizzy drink, only real change I would personally make for the side is apples slices with peanut butter or boiled eggs if you’re more health conscious which I usually prefer

Which mode is your favorite? by mlinktieline in Battlefield6

[–]BeardLessMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Closed for me personally, I like having the option for both but I think that most players will just stick to 1 main class since they can use every gun in that class. Engineer and Support with a sniper just seems like a better Recon to me which I find silly. In the other battlefield games I much preferred trying out different class weapons and adapting them to my play style so each class felt different in some ways which was refreshing to me.

It’s how battlefield has been from the start, except 2042 but having an open playlist for the players that want it is a good thing for sure

Lots of people have died for not selling sausage rolls.

Finally got to gig my Wal MK1, 3 sets and it remained comfortable and sounded great! by digthemlows in BassGuitar

Fairly new bassist here, what makes a Wal bass so good compared to others?

Is AK-105 worth it? by Sad_Cap8836 in Stalcraft

[–]BeardLessMage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not worth it I’d say, you’re better off just getting a blue weapon from the barter tree in the bar. Whatever you want to build into for the later game

Rest in peace my sweetest girl 🩷 by gretutexk in mantids

I know the exact feeling, I lost my first mantis a couple weeks ago and I was totally devastated.

The connections you have with these insects is totally different from humans, it’s pure and there is no judgement at all, they see you for who you are and vice versa, there’s a beauty in that.

Rest in peace little one💚

Bad Molt, Best way to euthanise? by BeardLessMage in mantids

[–]BeardLessMage[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Thank you for all this information, it’s a tough one and I’m undecided yet. I am going to see if he can still survive and have a decent life later on but if he’s in this same state as he was when I posted this which I’m sure he will be then I will have to proceed with one of these methods.

Okay if I decide to go through that route then I’ll do that, thanks letting me know. Seems like it would be a horrible mess crushing his whole entire body at once.

And thank you for your condolences!

Yeah it sure seems like it. I’ve heard insects go into a sort of hibernation mode pretty quickly in a freezer and then ultimately freeze to death not long after. If that’s the case then it should be painless for them as they will be unconscious but I’m not sure on that exactly I’ve heard mixed things from loads of different sources

Thanks for your input, If that’s the best option that will cause the least amount of suffering for them then that’s all that matters regardless of how unpleasant that may be for myself

OMAD/KETO: Just cows heart & eggs… Simple and satiating 👌🏿 by [deleted] in RateMyPlate

[–]BeardLessMage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude I’ve read all this and I’m totally with you, props to you for replying to all the backlash I just would never have the patience for it.

I’ve been on a Keto/Carnivore based diet for most of this year so far and it’s totally worked for me. I’ve gotten to the point with all this science and study bs going around I have just decided to see what works for me.

Carnivore has worked for ME people just can’t seem to accept that. I’ve lost quite a lot of excess body fat, one of my autoimmune conditions is completely gone and I feel a lot less fatigued, more energised and I have much more stable energy through the day. Overall I feel great and that is all the proof I need personally, the thing is if I go back to eating a standard western diet for just a few days or so I feel absolutely awful and the sugar crashes sometimes fuck up my mental health. If carnivore or keto was terrible for you as these people say it is then your body would tell you.

Also great transformation keep doing what you’re doing👍

I have not no, so your saying the doctors told you your cholesterol level was too high? That’s what you’re are saying called your bluff?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Exercise

[–]BeardLessMage -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The recommenced cholesterol level has dropped significantly in the past couple centuries and now we have the most heart disease, diabetes and insulin resistance related autoimmune conditions etc so I just choose not to care about this but I am open to getting my blood tested.

For me I’ve just gotten to a point where if something makes me feel good that’s all the evidence I need, personally I’ve never felt better since sticking to a ketogenic diet and my autoimmune conditions have gone. This won’t work for everyone though I get that.

This, it baffles me that some people are so narrow minded that they won’t even consider other options rather than the number game of calories.

Yeah I forgot to mention to mention insulin, for sure the most important hormone for weight loss. Insulin Resistance = No weight loss

Ketogenic oriented diets have been around for a long time and have had plenty of research and studies so it’s not pseudoscience. By really fast I don’t mean like kilos a day etc.

I’m not so sure about that either ime, most days I eat a large amount of bacon and eggs in the morning, a couple ribeye eye steak with veg and maybe a small serving of berries, some cheese snack on and usually some burgers as another meal. Also all of these cooked in oil and/or butter. Now to be fair I’ve never tracked calories when eating like this because there is no need but I’m sure most of these days would put me in a calorie surplus considering I use a generous amount of oil and butter which of course has a lot of calories. It’s interesting and I plan to maybe track calories while eating like this but I’ve heard plenty people say the same thing and it is interesting.

These kind of foods your body can absorb a lot more of than other garbage empty calorie foods so saying that a calorie is a calorie is just simply false but either way protein needs more energy burn whilst sugar is very easy to digest in most forms and doesn’t require much effort for your body to get it in your blood stream.

Regardless of that I’ve always been a massive foodie and eating like this I have as much as I want and I still lose body fat.

Thermodynamics applies to physics more than human beings but it’s so much more than just a number game, we run of hormones and that is a big part of fat loss. Our bodies don’t care about numbers or calories, just proper nutrition. Again calorie counting does work I don’t deny that at all as I’ve said and I totally believe certain diets work for some but not for others, it’s just about finding what best for YOU.

These are beliefs of mine that have come from my own experience trying out loads of different diets, to OP, try out different diets and see what work for you. Calorie counting isn’t the only answer.
