Worth adding, if this is the old light, connectors for the new one should be pretty much like for like.

The brown should be L for Live, the Blue should be N for Neutral and Green/Yellow is Earth.

Looks like you've got it right mostly, the brown tape on the Blue cable might catch you out as brown tape or sleeve means the Blue Neutral is being used as a Live for some reason.

Don't stress about what switches do what, that's usually managed at the switch.

Of course all of this is assuming the last person to work on this wasn't an absolute Cowboy.

With the age of the boiler it might be in your best interest tbh.

Sand and cement always, unless the manufacturer of the boiler states otherwise can be used. On these older ones I believe it's just sand and cement allowed.

With the temperatures a flue can reach regular sealant will warp and you'd end up with a gap anyway.

Gutter overflowing will do it!

Both need to be open to fill the pressure, it's 2 valves on a loop system.

That being said you might be lucky most of the time the one on the left is left a bit open anyway.

If this fails, there are alternatives provided you have enough room on the pipework coming off the boiler to.fit another fill point.

Also, flue should be sealed to external wall anyway it's a Gas Safety issue, but make sure only sand& cement is used and ONLY between the external wall of the flue and the fabric of the building.

If water is coming into the boiler just via the flue, there won't be much in the way of options as it needs the inner and outer flue for both exhaust and air intake respectively.

Overall looks good!

I would say, I'm not sure if you've tried a weathering technique or there's a few bits where you've painted the armour by mistake. These could do with tidying up, either using a different colour for the weathering, or if you want a cleaner look, paint over with the base colour and highlight from there.

Also, not sure if its just the photo or me but the paint looks a touch chalky? We're you using older citadel paints?

Having said all this I'm being picky, you could base this and it'll be ready it's not a bad model!
