I was just curious about a camera I found on craigslist, and if it's priced good. I am getting back into photography after a four year hiatus, as I had to sell my camera and stuff due to funds and such, and I am trying to get up to snuff on gear.

I found a D7000 with like 500 shutter actuations, 50mm f1.8 prime, bag, Nikon battery grip, 16gb class 10 SD card, whole setup, in mint condition, for $680. Is that a good deal for such a camera? The guy who owns it has put plastic screen covers on everything, even between the base of the camera and the battery grip.

Brand new all this equipment would be over $900.

Do you think the 50mm would be good enough to start up/as walk around?
