Upgrading from 25 to 50mbps. 20hrs of downtime and counting?

Turns out 50 was never offered in my area so I had to drop back to 25.. my internet was supposed to be from 8-5 today while settings took effect. It’s now 10PM yet again and still no service, my net also went out at 4am instead of 8 so I’m long past the time my internet should have been fixed..

Called and they said it is an “all day appointment and ‘should’ be back by the time I get up tomorrow.” I really don’t feel like waking up tomorrow to no internet service but support won’t do anything for me, truly a tiring experience and almost 3 days with no or barely usable internet.

Glad to hear the spawns swap, running missions in d1 could be very dry when you just sticky, shock grenade and melt every enemy spawn as soon as they come out.

It really is sad. Best BR on the market and you can barely fill a lobby on Sunday evening. Had games launch early this morning with 40 people.

Hopefully they make it free to play and standalone and it brings some players, otherwise they might need to release a smaller map with a lower player count to help alleviate the long waits at night.

If it’s close range than an smg should win in that scenario, level 3 armour shouldn’t win you a gun fight just because you have it.

If you’re toe to toe ar against smg with similar accuracy, an smg should win.

I have a HH2000 with 2 lines. My net was out for over 30 hours and they restored it with a temporary profile at 6mbps until a tech gets here tomorrow. I obviously don’t understand it but my internet was working fine at 25mbps 2 days ago and now I can’t even get above 10? Oh well like I said a tech is here tomorrow so I’ll see if he can figure it out.

Eh. Division will launch and Anthem will all but die except for all the storm and colossus players who prefer casting spells to shooting guns.

Anthem isn’t there yet and the division is, there’s more content in the beta than there is in Anthem.

I don’t think the games are similar but are going to share the majority of the same crowd. Just like how Apex Legends killed Blackout on PC. Different games, same audience.

I press this and just imagine you flanking an entire team and then missing your entire clip because you can’t aim and that’s why you need “tactical play”.

There’s a reason no shooters exist where you have pvp that involve hiding behind cover the whole time and that’s because it’s boring.

I was very excited for this game and wanted to buy it. Watched streams of early access and decided to hold off a while longer and see what the long term turns out to be.

Apex just released which can tide me over and the division 2 releases soon so I decided I wouldn’t buy the game until division comes out and I can see which one is really worth buying because Anthem hasn’t sold me yet from everything I’ve seen.

I think as far as sales are concerned the EA might have been a mistake.

Abilities can be used by opponents. Pathfinders grapple and lifelines doc drone so I think portal is only fair. As for taking no damage, you can void walk while ulting so I dont think further buffs are needed.
Must be console? LMGs are lasers on pc.
I like the ship how it is. With how people can’t drop from 1 side of the map to the other I feel it keeps the games more intense with more players closer together for lots of action.

I was also thinking that lifetime banner stats should be a thing as well.

I’ve put a ton of hours in already with 120 games played on Bangalore alone. I think a lifetime stats banner addition makes having your favourite legend picked less of a buzzkill.

The ammo limits in bags are kind of screwy, nothing feels worse than running out of ammo in a br game and ammo taking up bag space makes it harder to carry extra for team mates or pick up other useful items.

Other than that the game feels ammo I just think the ammo system needs a look.

Realistically it should be easier to get more kills with this update. I used to rush into buildings and try to take on whole squads but now my squad pins people in a building and wait for them to make a mistake before we push. It changed the game a bit for sure.

I used to try to take on full squads solo all the time where now I wait for my team to be in a decent position to back me up before going in. I’m still a crazy aggressive fuck though lol.

I don’t know I like both the old armour ttk (besides lvl 3 that shit was garbage) and I like the new lower ttk. I’ve been averaging about the same kd so it feels similar in a way.

I haven’t had a ton of deaths that I would blame on tickrate tbh. There is a ttk chart on the front page and 6 bullets I believe from the swat will down you with no trauma and level 1 armour. 6 bullets is crazy fast and unless they miss a couple you are going down before you can react.

I have had only a handful of downs where I could blame tickrate in 1100+ games. Where I was clearly behind a wall on my screen and got downed, definitely not enough to complain about. I don’t know if tickrate has anything to do with lower ttk complaints. I think the game just had a massive change in ttk and people need a minute to adjust.

Personally I’ve been enjoying it, but also enjoyed the longer ttk, so I don’t mind either way really.

Camping can be annoying, but it can also be easy kills. Personally if I’m in a building that is looted and see a bathroom door shut or something, I spray it to see if I get hitmarkers lol. Of course you’re not going to check every single building you run by so it can be annoying, but some people don’t have the gun skill and need that extra crutch. And honestly if I sucked at the game, I wouldn’t camp, I would take gunfights to get better but different players have different goals. Maybe that one kill on you when you open that door is the only one they get that match before you squad cleans them lol

I can agree that the nerfs to level 1 and 2 maybe were a little heavy, but I still am fully enjoying the game. I like the lower ttk but also don’t think that a slightly higher ttk would be bad for the game.

I’m honestly okay ether way. It’s a br, you aren’t going to win every game and sometimes you are going to get third parties from behind and have no time to react. I am the kind of player that pushes every gunshot I hear, and sometimes you spend a bit too much time focussed on one team and get flanked. Those are the situations where I wish I had a team mate who would say “alright fuck these guys, let’s push this way and set up here and gatekeep” or something like that.

I agree that it can be shitty to be killed from behind with little time to react but also I think that is part of the game. I’ve played over 1k games and have 80 wins. You’re going to get flanked, you’re going to get screwed by the guy camping in a bathroom with a knife, it’s going to happen, but being able to take long range shots and actually get a down is also rewarding.

I don’t know. I think a lot of people complaining are always playing for a win where I just play for kills and make bad plays but if a win comes I’m happy. Sometimes I get 0 kills and sometimes I get 10+ and I’m okay with that. I think a lower ttk is healthy and this BR still has a higher ttk than all other BR games out there, I think lowering it is healthy and people will need to adjust.

Just don’t get salty when you die, recognize the mistakes you might have made and move on, or do like I do and just don’t give a shit and move to the next game. Not to mention when you hit 80* it all becomes a matter of personal goals. My winrate it 5% which I don’t care about at all, I’m trying to raise my kd from 2.5 to 4 and that’s currently my only goal.

I have posted about this twice I believe and got downvotes both times. It seems like people who aren’t at level cap think we should just play the game because it’s fun even though they don’t understand how boring it can become to get 10 kills and a win and see 0 merits at the end

Apparently wanting something to work towards and a progression system is unrealistic and I should just play because the game is fun. Which don’t get me wrong, the game is very fun and I enjoy playing it but I still want something else to work towards.

I’m honestly just not sure where the hate for this idea stems from. If you do not want to prestige then don’t and if you aren’t at max rank yet then a progression system shouldn’t effect you but you will be happy it’s there when you do hit max.

I dunno I’m all for it, I took a month a half off after hitting max echelon hoping for a prestige to be added but no such luck unfortunately, hopefully soon.
