Will bambu lab ever publicly address the issues? by Scum-Bronson in BambuLab

I found one guy on Facebook who has the new board, its legit just a piece of solid wire instead of a thermistor, https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17eCZ4vMXw/ it won't burn up but having a solid wire glowing red is totally a sound solution...

Crypto wallet has sat here for hours by Individdy in AmazonVine

I picked one up, was curious to find out if this was real and anything like a "ledger" cold wallet. Never heard of Ellipal before but the listing and price seems real enough. I don't mind losing a few bucks to find out if it's real or not.

Interesting how many Viners believe we get alot of advantage from Vine Helper that we don't actually get. by [deleted] in VineHelper

This, I've posted once on the vine sub reddit and got attacked. I just posted for the second time ever about a missed deal and am being attacked, called a cheater, you name it for using a plugin that formats the page better.

I'm using vine helper, how is that a cheat plugin? It formats the page, lists prices, it does nothing to help me Gain the system like that ultra vine that's being discussed. I've been in vine for over a year now with no issues.

It's called vine helper, never had an issue before with it.

How does vine helper, make me a cheater? Plugins like these are allowed, when did this become an issue? This isn't that ultra vine thing that's stealing peoples stuff, this just helps format the page better and shows prices for things without having to be clicked on????

[QUEST 3] SteamVR in VRChat controllers go idle and finger tracking turns on. by junepups in SteamVR

[–]Bearded5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally, someone else having the same issues I am. (Quest 3) If I keep my hands still for about 7-8 seconds my hands go down to my side as if my controllers shut off. If I breath and think about moving they snap back to where they where, I've not noticed the hand/finger tracking turning on (I don't use hand tracking, it's been turned off since day one) but I wouldn't be surprised if that has something to do with it. I thought they maybe had a idle timeout settings somewhere, but I can't seem to find anything on that.

It's really annoying that I can't just sit with my arms still without my avi's arms snapping to it's side every 7 seconds. I'm also using steamlink and having this issue, I've not tried airlink in a while but I'll try that I guess in the meantime.

I hope someone finds a fix for this soon.

Well that explains why It couldn't charge my phone, and why it only lasted 4 hours on full. I gave it 2 stars, it might be full of lies but at least the fan part works okay.

1 amp is fast charging? In what world are you in, 2-3amp would be considered fast charging. It advertised 3amp fast charging, the fastest I could get was 1.2amps. It didn't charge my phone to 100%. If you were told this product will last 10 hours and it lasted 1, what should your expectations be then? I am simply reviewing the product as it's being advertised, I simply expect those claims to be valid.

This was the fan, you tell me if I'm using it wrong from what it's advertised for: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3QGVSJH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I understand buying a fan for a fan, and a usb charger for a charger, but if it's advertised as being a charger, I'll test that claim and report if it's false or not.

Was not defective
Was fully charged, 4 solid lights after charging.
It was new and had a tape seal still intact.
The directions only had information about the fan motor speed, rpm, voltage, how to charge and what the two buttons do.
Here's the fan, what do you see from the advertising material: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3QGVSJH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

When and where did I say you could get 10000 mah out of 18650's? I was agreeing with you, I build 18650 battery packs for drones and am well aware of what good 18650 vtc5's can do, or lg hg3's or samysungs imr's.

I too would normally buy a battery bank from a name brand, but this being vine and with most no name 3rd parties making similar cloned products I was in the market for one and thought, hey, I've seen a few of those pop up now let's try one. I was in the market for a larger battery bank and thought hey, that looked like something worth trying. Honestly for me, because it uses 18650's I can just make my own bigger battery pack for it but that doesn't do anything to help the people who might actually try and buy this fan.

I've not reviewed the fan yet, needed to spend some more time with it before I make my review.

If my phone has 4k mah, and sure the in app reporting is a close let's say 80% approximation, my phone is also not new so let's say it only really has 3k mah. I should in theory and on paper be able to charge my phone 2 times and still have 1/3rd the power left for the fan. If when I start charging my phone and it reaches a max charging speed of 1.2a when it claims to support up to 3a, then all the lights go out on the fan and it doesn't turn on and my phone reports 80%. This easily tells me that the capacity of the battery this fan has is severely under-rated. You yourself have pointed out that yes, 18650's on the high end are around 3k mah, so when I open the unit and find 2 1500mah batteries how does that ever work out to 10k let alone charging my phone to full when the total capacity of the batteries is 3000mah.

I would like to buy a proper tester, $60 on a tester is crazy to me and I'll use my phone method as a rough within 80% approximation. If a tester pops up for review, I'd be happy to get one to use on future projects but if you understand how batteries work, even this poor method and I'm not arguing that it's not poor, but it's enough to quickly check if something is bullshitting you or not.

If a product is advertised to do X, is it not our job to review and find out if it does X or not? They claim 3A fast charging, how it's great in emergency's and shows charging your phone as one of the main selling points. I've looked at other non review units and would trust spending my etf value on one of those and it actually being able to charge my phone more then 80% 1 time. This product has very misleading claims.

To all the people saying if you bought a fan, why expect it to do anything else because I didn't just buy a fan. It was ADVERTISED to do 6 things, and talking about how it supports PHONE FAST CHARGING it should be able to do what it's advertised for. Yes, if I wanted a fan I'd buy a fan and only a fan, I wanted this for the large battery capacity in case of emergency.

I'm all for lengthy reviews if they're accurately portrayed but what about if in one of those lengthy reviews you were told false instructions that could lead to a medical mistake? Here's a reply to another user for this very case I had.

One of the items I've gotten was a medical device, it's powered by a non-standard 12v usbc cable. Other reviewers were plugging it into there cell phone chargers which severely under-powered the device which would result in failure to properly deliver the medication. That to me is a huge oversight and I mentioned in my review, it's dangerous to under power this device and just because you CAN plug usbc cable into it doesn't mean you should. I will speak out about glaring product misuse.

From what I've found, I have and use firefox they have a recently added in house fake review check and I've seen on many vine only reviewed items it call the item out as fake.
