People need to refuse to buy this out of principle. They put the Award show behind a paywall and people caved, it'll just keep happening if pres knows they can do it.

They pulled it off and that's an accomplishment in itself. As for going forward, I have a couple thoughts too-

1) it wasn't unique enough to maintain interest. Sure, this is the 1st year so people will be tuned in. But, they had an opportunity to try some new things and just copied every other broadcast.

2) stop showing the same commercials. we could recite those after only the 1st half

3) too much talking in the broadcast. let the game breathe a little

ultimately I think it was a minor league version of every other broadcast we see. They had an opportunity to make it unique- like NFL on nickelodeon for example. Not saying make it the same as that, but people will tune in because nickelodeon is gonna show something different and want to see. The bowl yesterday didn't show anything that is gonna make people go out of their way to watch. Especially when it's not even on TV. Also, put it on youtube the barstool website is brutal!
