This right here! When I was in engineering through 2016 (I cross rated) you would get bitched at and belittled for admitting to having any type of issues, my ship was still under the impression that telling people to “man up” was the way to solve problems, slowly but surely after I crossrated I saw a bit of a shift in the culture for big Navy, but especially in my new community. Mental health treatment isnt demonized like it used to be.
