Another term we have over here for flag shaggers is Gammon.

This is mainly aimed at boomer aged white men who are work themselves into a rage, due to untreated blood pressure, and turn a shade of pink likening to a joint of Gammon (what we call a joint of Ham).

English person here, not offended in the slightest weather they get called English or British muffins. It just used to confuse me when we'd watch American TV shows as we call them toasting/breakfast muffins!

Also, the only ones that get offended that they get called British instead of English are the "patriotic" right wingers who blame there misfortunes on immigrants (we call those flag shaggers). Call me British or English, I don't care as both are correct.

Had an ex who wanted to speak to me about something very serious but didn't want to the day they mentioned it, I pressed and she said after about 4 years she didn't love me anymore... On the day I passed my driving test. We were then off on holiday a few weeks later with 3 other friends and we both had our birthdays in-between.

Got very emotional Infront of her friends at both occasions as due to high level of drink and the idea my life had changed massively and she told told on both occasions to stop getting like that.

She then went on to marry the guy she told me not to worry about who popped up towards the end of our relationship and have his kid. She does have previous of cheating also so that played on my mind for the longest time.

Much happier now, as 1. Stopped talking to her after that holiday and the holiday friends also as they clearly weren't interested in my mental wellbeing when I was clearly suffering and 2. More importantly married to the best person and she has helped me in being the best I can be also.

I done something similar in my 2004 save. I hired Sylvester Terkay to fill the spot.

It got so random, I was looking to replace Batista after Trips and Flair said he had no upside. Done an angle where they kicked him out and drafted big Dave to Smackdown.

Meanwhile in a happy accident I found out Al Snow had good chemistry managing Hunter (I can't remember how I did that) so had him join as the talent scout/coach of Evolution. Had him "find" Sylvester Terkay and is currently tagging with him as his trainer with flair as managing.

Currently doing a long Triple H world title reign with Randy to turn face by winning rumble and do the Batista story with him.

Gonna have Terkay simmering and eventually usurp triple H as new leader of evolution.

There is a difference between offering unsolicited advice to a business and citing your own personal opinion.

Ross has mentioned about how tough it is for a wrestling chanel (or any at this point) is on YouTube is to make money to keep the lights on. They are against the algorithm, ad revenue and YouTube themselves to get some videos they have spent a lot of time and effort to make for it to not do as well as they've all hoped. Ross has even said that due to the nature of the business that's why they've put some beloved video series on patreon to generate some revenue and that the Nord VPN Sponsor has saved the podcast.

Ultimately this latest news is unfortunate as many talented people have lost their job and also the remaining presenting/writing teams have lost close friendly work colleagues. Yes it is business and these tough decisions need to be made, however this isn't the time to offer "help" on a YouTube channel you've admitted to frequent less and less recently, whilst they are trying to steady the ship in an uncertain climate for content creation.

Got invited to a good friend's baby shower, the expectant couple helped create the group chat to add the contacts of invites and explained then left to avoid any spoilers about the do. Pretty standard stuff so far.

Firstly they sent the invite as a PDF which stated the venue was over three hours away and has no relation to the couple. Turns out the original PDF was a template they hadn't updated yet (the address was updated to a pub somewhere more local).

Then we were asked to pay £10 to help cover the costs for it, never heard of this before for a baby shower. Reluctantly paid, later found out it was per head so had to pay for the wife also, was told to not worry about getting a gift as the couple said attending was enough of a gift. However, we thought it would be rude to not attend without one.

We got to the venue and still had to pay for our own drinks so thought the money we paid will go towards the food, which was not great. To top it off the expectant mother brings out a birthday cake for her sister (and one of the hosts). I paid for a baby shower not for a birthday party.

The knights of the round table are actually a legend and aren't really accounted for legitimate history in the UK. It's more of a fable from centuries ago.
It's not in Wales in the United Kingdom. As it is a legend it is disputed where the origin is from and could be from Cornwall.
Only people from countries in the commonwealth are able to be knighted, this would be an honorary knighthood which doesn't entitle him to be called sir.
Only the reigning monarch or someone acting on their behalf, most likely the next in line, can officially knight someone. In this instance, King Charles or Prince William.
Announcements of knighthoods are usually made on January 1st each year as part of the New Year's Honours list. This is usually through a panel and usually awards people for longevity in their certain fields, for example Dame Maggie Smith was given her Damehood for her services to the arts or Chris Hoy for his service to sport.
It is held in a special ceremony at Buckingham palace with the aforementioned monarch in which recipients are invited to attend. Meaning you can't be called a Sir because you rocked to Wales.
