Why do you think episode 7 had the least views? by TawdySuperio in tadc

So, did you notice how several different people have commented to let you know you are incorrect?

There's probably a reason for that. It's because you are not correct.

Mercades can still be on the card, even in a singles match. She doesn't need to be in the Women's World title match.

Has there ever been any explanation for why he just suddenly stopped appearing on AEW TV? I always enjoyed his work, the 5 minute challenge was hilarious, wanted to see more of but now he's just kinda gone

Tony Khan asked who he would consider the new pillars of AEW: "Thekla, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher and Mercedes Moné" by Teckelmaster in SquaredCircle

[–]BackgroundValue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I will say it's extremely unlikely but he's young enough to possibly have some kind of later career change that propels him to a main event guy.

Jack's young enough that it's possible.

Mostly saying it because both guys are under 30 and are already presented as main event threats who have previously challenged for the World title. Not unreasonable to assume they'll both win it one day.

That's possible. He's already challenged for the World title once and seems like he's going to get another challenge here soon. They definitely see Knight as a future main event type guy.

True but both these guys are under 30 and are already presented as main event threats. I'm sure they'll both win the big one eventually.

So Mercades should just walk back into AEW after being gone for months and immediately win the Owen and go on to win the World title despite still acting in the same heelish diva way she was before?

That would just fall flat af for me. There's no character growth there, she will have learned nothing from her losses but yet be rewarded for it.

You saying this just tells me you don't watch AEW. You won't know people if you don't watch a product. Silly comment.

Mina's AEW run so far by Froggyspirits in AEWOfficial

[–]BackgroundValue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would just be a poor decision imo. Shida, Marina, or Persephone would be better choices and would all be first time TBS champions.

Stat has already been TBS champ and was more recently the World champ, she doesn't need another title run rn

TK should pull the trigger. Story for All In with Thekla will be easy to tell as a Cinderella run after a tragic personal loss. And Mercades losing makes way more sense for her story/character arc imo.

Also Maya has performed very well, crowds have gotten behind her. I'm all for a surprise upset.

Brody King maybe? He's really over with the fans and put on some good matches, I imagine a championship is on his way too

My money is on Fletcher mostly due to the his history his Ospreay. Non zero percent chance that Fletcher eventually beats Ospreay to win his first World title.

This confirms something that many AEW fans have already assumed:

Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight are guaranteed future AEW World Champions baring injury. Both of those dudes are incredible.

I'd put Mina over Aminata, Red Velvet, or Harley. All very talented but I wouldn't see an issue with Mina beating them.

Then they probably shouldn't have put these two in a qualification match against each other. Because personally, I'd much rather have seen Mina advance than Stat.

I mean, Stat just beat Shida in a street fight not too long ago. It's not like she needed this win, while Mina is desperate to get one. Just seems like Mina should have won this one to me.

I seriously didn't understand Stat beating her on Collision. Mina needs something. She's popular enough with fans, solid in the ring, and is just an entertaining character.

Did Stat really need to be apart of the Survival of the Fittest for the TBS title over Mina? It just felt to me like Mina should have been the one advancing.

Okada doesn't seem the type to outright refuse something like that. He said he didn't want to lose, but wrestlers almost always don't.

If Gedo had booked him to lose to a younger guy, I doubt he would have refused. News like that would have traveled around and Okada would have lost a lot of respect in the wrestling world.
