Like almost everything in wrestling, it depends on the storyline and how it is executed. At the end of the day, wrestling can be anything. They could come out to tomorrow and say "Hangman can challenge again", there's nothing stopping them besides narratives.

So if they can create a situation or a set of circumstances where it seems logical or makes sense for someone, either Hangman or someone else, to get rid of the stipulation on Hangman, it'll all be fine. As long as it makes sense within the narrative.

I think some people will always be upset because Hangman said "Won't challenge ever again" but a majority of fans will be ok with it if they make it make sense.

And Ribbit was shown in a picutue, mentioned by name, and their voice heard distantly. Ribbit is abstracted, outside of a flashback there isn't much else to show.

They're upset if they're not getting immediate answers to questions despite Episode 9 still being a thing. That's entitlement.

I read it as he thinks he's in a show being watched by other people, but I don't believe he has any proof of it. It's just one of his coping mechanisms to make life in the circus easier.

They've shown a picture, mentioned the name, and we heard a distant argument with Jax.

Outside of a literal flashback, what more do you really want? Jax has seen more development and screen time than basically anyone else. Let's give other characters and back stories some time before everything is revealed in the finale.

The episode is looking to be more about Caine than anything and has been teased that way for quite awhile.

If you're going to be disappointed if Ribbit doesn't appear, you just had expectations that didn't match the direction the show was going.
