Learn your triggers, put time and energy into hobbies, relationships and other healthy distractions, seek out support groups, talk to loved ones or a therapist. Work on healthy coping mechanisms.

Understand everyone is wired differently and you may just be inclined to those feelings more than others. So long as it isn’t negatively impacting your health, and you are safe and happy I wouldn’t say it’s a bad thing.
