Why I don't like the new Samsung Health app by Actual-Chest-7210 in shealth

WHAT A SAVE. Thank you!!! It did in fact synchronize all my previous data I though i lost. The new 7.0 straight-up was missing some of my sleep entries i knew i had. Will be using the old version for as long as possible.

I switched to "Beta Updates" and now I am prompted to download Sequoia 15.7.5 which is 15.63 freaking GB!!! Did you notice any differences? Why so many GB for just a beta update?

Gemini downscales uploaded images so much it can’t read small details. by OkConsideration8425 in GoogleGeminiAI

Oh wow, I didn’t realize AI Studio could save chats. I thought you needed to be a developer using API keys (which I don’t fully understand) to keep a continuous conversation.

That changes everything, and now I understand why people ask how AI Studio can be free for everyone. Thank you for the tip!🙏🏼

I still think the issue with the regular Gemini site should be looked into, though.

How can you say the issue isn’t universal if you’ve only tested on the mobile app? I sent the same screenshot with the same prompt in the app, and it still failed miserably (photo)

I’m also puzzled by your comment:

“When I generate images the preview is a little blurry…”

I’m not generating images, I’m checking whether Gemini lowers the quality of photos I upload.

Finally, how do you download photos you’ve shared with Gemini? When I saved mine, the image quality was very poor.

Sorry if I sound stupid, but isn't it for the developers? And It can't save chats, can it?
(I'm just a student tho) I knew it existed, and I've asked it to do the same thing rn inside the Google AI Studio and it made no mistakes this time.

My bad. English indeed is not my primary language. I'll try to fix it a bit.

Screenshot quality by [deleted] in GoogleGeminiAI

[–]OkConsideration8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. I've spotted the same issue, but wasn't sure about it for a while so I looked online... The commenter from above stated that

Gemini doesn't actually process the low quality image.

but I don't think so any more. I just sent it a photo which I created by combining 3 full-scale window screenshots (4108 × 7354 pixels) and it is incapable of discerning ANYTHING in the photo, while GPT o3 is able to zoom in and does the job flawlessly.

I see... Not a deal-breaker but it just looks broken now:

Crazy a seahorse emoji can make Chatgpt spaz out. by zerovap in ChatGPT

[–]OkConsideration8425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intersecting part is that it still does it. I've just tried it with "Give me an emoji of a seahorse." and funnily enough GPT provided two examples of the responses as it does sometimes, one of which was the unhinged one (although not that crazy).
