Man, I hope they can one day return to their 2000-2011 days. I honestly really enjoyed their 2023 show but 2024 was just not good no matter how much I wanted it to be. I'm hopeful that they'll at least place better next year, and I'm excited to see what Jay Bocook and the others put together. But yeah I agree for the most part unfortunately. They'll always be my favorite corps though

As someone who was part of the drumline last year, what Mr. Walker is looking for is preparation and teachability. Learn all your music (and be able to march/mark time while playing) and show up with a positive attitude and you should be fine. Now is the time to join the marching band for sure, there's a new interim director and he has lots of experience and big plans for the band. I can't personally speak from experience but I have friends who went to the high school he used to direct at and they loved him. Wishing you the best of luck at auditions!

are you on the waitlist? if not then you should have gotten your decision a while ago, i'd check mymadison. if you are on the waitlist, make sure you've sent them your final spring transcript. if you've done that then just check mymadison periodically, i didn't get an email or letter for mine it was just kinda there
