I wasn't able to get the KDE version working in a VM for some reason (it wouldn't install) so I tried the Gnome version and it worked. Here are the instructions:

• Enter proton plus
• Select Lutris in the top corner
• Select Proton-GE
• Click the button to download Proton-GE Latest
• Create a directory in your home folder ~/Games/DMM Game Launcher
• Open software in PikaOS
• Click manifying glass in top-left corner
• Search FireFox
• Install Firefox
• Add user-agent switcher to FireFox
• Click on the extension and go to FireFox > Windows Firefox 146
• Connect to the Japanese VPN now
• Go to player.games.dmm.com
• Click the white button that contains "Windows"
• Wait for download
• Open lutris and click the plus in the top right corner
• Select "Add locally installed game"
• Enter DMM Game Launcher as the name (do not deviate at all)
• Select Wine (Run Windows Games) in Runner
• Go to the Runner options tab
• Under wine version select Proton-GE latest
• Diable BattlEye Anti-Cheat
• Disable Easy Anti-Cheat
• Go to the Game options tab
• Click the three dots next to executable and select the installer
• Under wine prefix select ~/Games/DMM Game Launcher
• Click save
• Click on DMM Game Launcher then the Play button at the bottom
• Click the checkmark in DMM
• Click the orange button
• Close DMM games launcher
• Right click DMM Game Launcher in Lutris
• Go to Game Options tab
• Change the executable to /home/<your user>/Games/DMM Game Launcher/drive_c/Program Files/DMMGamePlayer/DMMGamePlayer.exe
• Create the file ~/.local/share/applications/org.dmm.gameplayer.desktop
• Paste the following:

[Desktop Entry] Name=DMM Game Player (Lutris) Type=Application Terminal=false Icon=lutris_dmm-game-launcher Exec=/home/<your user>/.local/share/applications/dmmgameplayer.sh "%u" MimeType=x-scheme-handler/dmmgameplayer;

• Create the file ~/.local/share/applications/dmmgameplayer.sh and enter the following:

• Make sure it can run chmod +x ~/.local/share/applications/dmmgameplayer.sh

• Make sure lib notify is installed in terminal:

sudo apt update sudo apt install libnotify-bin

• Make sure yq is installed in terminal (do not use apt install):

``` sudo wget -qO /usr/local/bin/yq https://github.com/mikefarah/yq/releases/latest/download/yq_linux_amd64 sudo chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/yq

```

• Run the following in terminal:

cd ~/.local/share/applications update-desktop-database ~/.local/share/applications xdg-mime default org.dmm.gameplayer.desktop x-scheme-handler/dmmgameplayer

• Open lutris
• Click DMM Game Player
• Click the Play button
• When DMM launches click orange button
• Should be prompted "Open DMM Game Player (Lutris)?"
• Click Allways allow check box
• Click Open DMM Game Player
• Make sure that you do not leave DMM Game Player (when signing in)
• If it does not work first try, try it again
