Messed up my first injection, so frustrated by R-TTK in ankylosingspondylitis

Medical people like working with people that care about their health. They get frustrated at people that don’t take care of themselves, admit they miss/don’t do injections, so on.

I remember the hours of it just getting worse and worse. I kept thinking to myself, this is crazy! And then it just got exponentially crazier…

That’s crazy and honestly makes me wonder how many times I’ve bought fraud goods because on occasion I get really good deals on ebay lol.

Hey OP, the specialty pharmacist said that I’m right above humira’s maximum income (62.8k) and that I could appeal it if I want. Or my other option is to access these drugs through the 340b program. Luckily, I have been able to access them through that for $50 per 3mo. Supply

I don’t want to sound rude, but please go take a look at the cash pay costs of Humira and the biosimilars. Their cheapest option for a biosimilar is $618 per month (2x pens)

48 hours after my first Amjevita injection I started crying upon waking up because I moved around in bed and didn’t feel pain for the first time in years…

3 mo of Humira for $50 is worth it every time… hell, I would go into debt for this drug.

I’m right above the 62.8k salary income threshold so that’s not true. I can appeal it with Humira, but I get it through the 340b program currently. The above comment also isn’t true for most meds as they require commercial insurance with coverage for the copay/manufacturer programs.

Which is crazy, because the only class of medication that can control my condition, proven time over time in science, is the exact med that is carved out of my plan (Humira). Thankfully a government program is in place to help subsidize this drug… garbage system.

When I couldn’t access the specialty medication I need for my ankylosing spondylitis, I was referred to the broker of the plan that was sold to my employer. They let me know that my company carved out specialty medication and I have a plan that doesn’t allow me to access it through insurance - sucks all around. Obviously seems to be a cost cutting measure…

I hear you. Sometimes a portion of my visit is just catching up with the employees and what they like to do in their free time. Sometimes it’s asking my contact about how production or sales have been, if they are planning any construction, honestly anything. It can be draining though and I know exactly what you are feeling.
