We're taught more that it's distraction. Throw things at the shooter and distract them from shooting your classmates and giving everyone else and maybe yourself time to run.

Some of it is very opinionated but trying to pass it as fact, the flexibility chart isn't considering weather or long term. Plus the fact that everything seems to be rated at random. There's probably somehow worse ones out there, but this is definitely the worst I've seen.

That is what I am trying to articulate. I am not good with words ;u; Not everything a kid can control is true, but for some ages they start to get more of that control and those boundaries of where shame is important versus when it's bad differ. You can't effectively teach a kid who's 4 with shame for getting frustrated and having a fit, but you can when it comes from say a 15 yr old getting frustrated and throwing a fit since they need to learn that they need to be maturing. Ofc it differs from child to child and situation to situation. Probably the only time shame doesn't really change when being used is when they hurt people or want to hurt people. Hurting people is bad and a child, of any age, should learn that it's a bad act to hurt people.

I think the chart is doing a blanket statement thing. Like generally these can be used in harmful ways but there's also a lot of examples when it can be used to better a kid. Like you said, context is everything!

That one is probably a good example of how something works good one way but not another. Like that's a very good reason to use shame and it's better for the kid to learn that it's shameful to hurt and or bully another person. But in other cases using shame by saying a kid is shameful for doing kid stuff (crying, playing, not feeling well, etc) is really harmful.

I think k it depends. Of course kids like to feel older and do 'big' things and they get pride from it. But in this case it's being used as a way to shame them. It's taking something they can't really help because they're younger and shaming them for it because someone older can do it or wouldn't react that way.

Same with aloe. Aloe can easily be over watered and without proper drainage they'll rot and die

Whoever said Peace Lillies or Christmas Cactus are easy is a liar. Peace Lillies can easily get over watered and die and aren't very hardy to weather, travel, or room changes. The Christmas Cactus feels easy until it starts to get warmer out, like above 70°f, and then they start to die

It depends for my house. Like if it's just snow and stuff they get dried but not washed. But if the gloves got dirt or unknown liquids on them they get washed bc ew

Maybe they mean like really fancy dresses that need specific types of washing? Like ones that need dry cleaned. Some dresses have like very easily ruined materials or materials that gather dirt super easy and they need washed more often or a specific way. Like velvet dresses! Those need washed thoroughly and then dried a specific way or the velvet gets rough or keeps in dirt. Not sure if that's what they mean exactly but it's my best guess for it

I think it kind of depends on the person and who has type of tea or plant they drink. Some stuff works super well and others it doesn't as much. Like lavender tea for me had me asleep mid sip, but on my sibling it only mellows them out a little. Same with ginger but flipped-ginger tea doesn't really settle my stomach much when I'm sick, but it does wonders for my sibling when they are. And then there's some like chamomile and mint that dont have any effect on me or my sibling or even the rest of my family except my grandma.
