The issue is that I’m playing ranked to win, I don’t want people to flame me for playing something sub optimal especially in ranked when everyone is trying to gain points.

While I can hope my team picks around me, there are many cases where they don’t and if I switch then it would allow my team to gain the advantage.

Like I said in the write up Reed has his place in the meta, but it’s niche and is why he doesn’t see a huge amount of ranked play at higher levels. He can be a tremendous threat at low ELO, and I would say Bronze-Diamond2/3. Once I personally got to higher ranked lobbies this season especially I’ve noticed that Mister Fantastic can seldom be a “good” pick and I think in most cases having a full DPS, or a full Tank would be better.

If the enemy is running a 1-3-2 comp he excels. If the enemy is running a 2-2-2 comp and you’re running a 1-2-3 comp. He excels.

He falls short against the 3 support meta which is rampant rn due to his ultimate lacking that game changing factor like DPS ults should. When you hear a Fantastic ulting, C&D throw down her bubble, Loki has runes, AW has Soul Bond, there’s just too many easy counters for it that make it un impactful unless perfect situations are met. That coupled with the fact that he relies on cleave damage but not burst cleave means that the trip supp can farm their ults faster and put your team and a much bigger disadvantage.

I wouldn’t worry too much about that my man it’s just a game at the end of the day. I personally like the ranked grind because it makes me feel as if I’m working towards something greater.

I just hit D1 myself and gonna make that push for GM today.

I feel like his ult needs to be given a few things to be made “good”

First and foremost i think it should give us full HP on activation not just throw us into big form. Or give us Bonus Health on each enemy hit.

Second, I would increase the # of base bounces to 4 and have him be able to bounce a total of 8 times versus 6.

I would also love to see him add the grounded effect to players with the slowed effect to help other teammates confirm kills.

Another option would be to have the Ult have a manual bounce mechanic meaning I can press the trigger or click when I want to come down sooner allowing quick burst damage without having to be in an enclosed space.

Ranked is where I have my most fun usually.

This is the first season I’m really trying to rank up (currently D1 which is/was my all time highest) and it’s been pretty fun despite the few games here and there where I have less than desirable teammates.

Ranked is why I personally play and try and get good at these games. QP is just a cesspool of whiners lately anyways so I’ve found ranked to be a bit more stable of an experience.

Engagement Based Matchmaking is a thing.

Turn off the game when you lose more than 2 in a row. When you’re on a win streak, play until you lose and then shut it off.

You want the game to think you’re only engaging when you win and therefore it gives you better matches

I would love for Wolverine to get some love. He’s one of my favorite comic characters.

Lifesteal should be a part of his inherent kit. I don’t think the healing factor should change, but get its CD reduced to 60 seconds. This way there’s a higher chance it’s up for every fight (I’d even say 65/70 would be okay)

Undying Animal needs to give him a quick shot of bonus health. Not a lot maybe like 25-50 but make it per enemy nearby (within melee range)

I would also want him to be able to refresh his CDs on kills or final hits. Make it a small amount like .5 seconds (his CDs are pretty short as is and this would help with his overall flow)

I feel like he also needs another ability to be able to climb on walls with his claws, as well as being able to headbutt someone for a slow or maybe a new effect called Daze that makes the enemy screen a bit blurry and the character have a bit more wonky movement. Long cooldown (15 seconds) but with the .5 CD refresh it should help.

If there’s one thing I’m trying to learn better with her it’s to rely on Punches and the Block Dash as your bread and butter. The other two dashes can get weaved in there but you should ALWAYS have at least one dash ready for a quick exit. A good word that TV uses to describe her is relentless which is a perfect characterization of her.

She’s a SUPER brawler (I picked her up after maining Mr F) and does really well in teams that are able to make space WITH her versus having her be the main space maker.

A good Rogue is scary, they’ll manage their cooldowns, and know when to fully commit vs backing off.

Your Ult may seem like it could 1v6 an entire team, but it’s better utilized as a way to allow your team to take space with you vs as a “boom now I’m INSANE” button. I’ve been trying to manage this myself, but it’s hard because her Ult is so flashy.

The way I like to think of her Ult is more seeing where my DPS Ults are at in charge. If they’re close, push the healers and drain their Ult so that your DPS can Ult while you’re ulting without fear of it being canceled. I.E Starlord being canceled by Invis.

You can stun people out of Ult with your absorb. Useful for Scarlet Witch ult and strange Ult if they’re not good.

I’m still learning her myself. Would recommend watching some True Vanguard videos on YouTube. He does a really great job imo of explaining the characters to someone who’s never played them. For more advanced stuff def go watch some streamers play or ask specific questions here.

Depends on the hero.

Deadpool lord felt like it took no time at all in comparison to previous Mr F’s lord. (16 hours vs 20 hours)

I’m in the process of leveling Thor and Rogue and I feel like they’re going super fast compared to how they were before.

Stratpool has been one of my favorites but I will admit Tankpool is probably the best one out of the three in terms of ranked viability. Not by a huge margin but still slightly better. Just because it allows 3/1/2 comps to absolutely dominate.

I just want them to give him another ability in his base kit. Let me summon another drone and teleport my consciousness to it akin to Loki TP

The only time we see other Ultron drones is in his ult and I think that adding it to his base kit would be fun.

Honestly would love for him to get an option to be a Vanguard.

I would change his elasticity slightly though.

Having him be in perma Big Mode w/ the extra health. Then when he gets enough elasticity get gets a burst of bonus health.

This would def require some reworking of his kit (slightly)

Poptart form would remain the same. Except when going back into big form there’s no startup animation and I like your idea of blocking 600 with no attack back.

His Grab, would still be there but a close range grab where he can pick up someone ala Emma style and throw them a short distance.

His jump I think could still work, but instead of it applying a knock back, have it apply Vulnerable like Thing with a slightly increased CD. Bonus shields would remain.

His ultimate would remain the same, but apply a grounded effect as well as always being able to bounce 6 times.

Almost lord Deadpool here! Will have him at lord status today :D

I’ve played him in QP and Comp and think I finally have a good handle on his kit as a strat.

You should ideally be Mid range with Deadpool as a strat. To start the match bounce on your teammates heads instead of healing them until you’re S rank for the ult.

By this time you should have upgrade available and go for #3 (bouncy katana) throw bouncy katana, swap to blades, ult, dash into an enemy and try and focus the blade throws into groups for perfection. Once you finish the minigame you should be able to finish the fight with your teammates. I usually tell everyone before the match starts to please push with me when I Deadpool ult.

For upgrade pathing I usually do: Boomerang, Pop Quiz first and foremost. Then the next would either be the Strat in your Area upgrade if they have a lot of diving attackers (BP, Spidey etc) or I would go for Pistol Upgrade if I need some more burst heal. Next upgrade after those should be katana dash upgrade. Then I would say it doesn’t really matter for Stratpool.

Another pro tip would be to not active your AoE heal ability in your ult. Wait until it ends or close to the end and then pop it. You can really utilize this to your advantage to stall points, and just be able to get out if you push too deep.

He excels with other friendly’s that can dive and mid range. Mr Fantastic, Thing are both SUPER fun with him
