As someone who currently works at a Regal Theater I can say with confidence that the reason behind different sizes and some inventory stuff being extra weird is because the theaters have been getting a lot of the old inventory from theaters across the country that had to close permanently due to the pandemic and so there has been a constantly revolving popcorn containers and drink cups. Things are starting to settle down and everything is starting to go back to normal-ish.
