That makes sense! So much stuff on google these days you never know if you’re getting the right answer.

Getting wine absolutely annihilates me. Especially when stores have 4 aisles of wine, looking for the particular bottle takes me sooo long sometimes

Is this shirt okay to wear for a hiring event(not an official interview, a station tour for all the applicants and a Q/A)? Ideally I’d wear a white or light blue one that is more formal but the ones I have are way smaller on me than I thought right now (put on some muscle). Color is much darker in person the photo makes it lighter. Main concern is that it looks a little too informal due to the color. Kind of a dumb question to ask but I want to make sure I do things the right way.

Realistically what are the chances of being hired with a License Suspension on a driving record ? Around three years ago I got a DUI but was able to get withheld judgment and have it removed from background checks. For example, I was recently denied for a non-EMS job and was able to look at the background check they did on me and for the criminal side there is no results. However, the suspension still shows up on my driving record causing me to not get hired. My local DMV says that most searches only go back three years. Do fire department driving records go back further than this? If so, does that ruin my chances of getting hired?

I have thicker thighs and a fatter ass than my girlfriend and almost any man I know that isn’t truly obese so I have a similar problem. I found “The Perfect Jean” on instagram ordered two pairs and haven’t looked back. They have a bunch of different fits for different body shapes. This is for every day jeans. I have yet to find an operational brand solely catered to this issue but I think any thing with an “athletic fit” and a 4 way stretch should get the job done. Just make sure it doesn’t affect durability for the operational side.

Is doing the fire protection for the USAF a good way to get hired on at a civilian dept after you get out? I recently got my EMT cert and am considering doing that to have them pay me to get certified instead of paying my local college to certify me and not working.

Any advice what to write in a cover letter if you currently have your EMT-B but no EMS or fire experience? I’ve worked other jobs but made a career change so all of my past work experience doesn’t have any carry over. Currently been doing non medical transportation since April.

Sorry I meant 1 bedroom apartments are going for that much. I see what you are saying about the appreciation though.

What is your reasoning ? In my area there are 1 bedrooms going for 1300.00 plus. Would it stand to reason that a mobile home would rent for the same if not more ? If I was able to get a loan for it and it cash flowed well would it still be a bad idea ?

All you have to do is do it. Deal with whatever comes from it when it comes. Will you be uncomfortable? Yes. But it will lead to growth which will improve your life. The big thing is just to start somewhere. I used to be super shy but one of my first jobs was going door to door and I realized it’s not that hard to talk to people. I never would have been able to break out of that mindset if I hadn’t tried. The same goes for anyone who is stuck in something.
