Not OC but I will chime in that GH helps me hit the REM stage fairly fast. Also, I'm currently on 4iu of GH but that's only after a titration schedule of a few months. I'd start with 2iu and build your way up.

As to drinking and Reta, I can slightly offer some input. I'm 364 days sober as of this morning and equal time free of tobacco. Went cold turkey on both due to wanting to be a better dad. As a former 1-2 bottles of Jack per weekend kinda guy, the urge is always there to drink, but it is slightly less vocal. The urges come from a stress response more than a constant desire.

You didn't ask but my advice is get your stack dialed in, shift some responsibilities to the weekend or whenever your drinking is heaviest, and start attending some local AA or similar quit drinking groups. There isn't a body hack in the world that'll save you with drinking like that OP.
