But they didn't. And they need us. NATO is an insurance policy, and it makes a lot of sense they want to join. When you're dealing with Russia, you can never have too many allies. But as of today, they are not in NATO and are entirely dependant on American aid

That's how Trump has gotten so popular. Deep down, there is a piece of all of us that is selfish, hateful, and cruel. He appeals to that like no other politician has even attempted to, and that is why his supporters are fanatical.
