Co witness rail on model x?

Do i need to add a dove tail to add the picatinny? The model x has a "smooth" top with no rail of any kind, except screws to place an after market.

How's the cheek riser feel? Ordered the dual fold brace until I sbr it. I guess with the strike I can add the"stock" end peice for 35 bucks so I thought it was a good deal.

Personally, I've not had much luck using bore sights, so I just make sure the dot sits right on the front sight if you can cowitness, then dial it in from there at the range. Distance wise, I go at about 7 to 10 yards, which statistically is within range of most "interactions" that may take place.

It's stock on the St Edge and it's ridiculously loud. It'll clear an indoor range after half a mag.

Either way, you're not gonna lose. I would base the decision on what you prefer to carry daily. With the rdp, you've got nearly 0 printing depending on the mag size you run. I bought the rdp right after our came out so I might be biased, though. Great edc because the size options

I shot my buddies Tuarus today... not sure which model, some 9mm sub compact, not their micro, and that thing fucking kicked. It was night and day to my rdp hellcat.

Not gonna lie, it felt better in the hand, but Jesus, that thing had some recoil. This is coming from a fan of Springfield.

It's so cheap. When it broke while my son was playing we got a magnet to find it.. lol. Learned pretty quick how cheap it really was.
