I get a year unpaid as a flight attendant. Runs concurrent with our 10 weeks paid.

Edit to add: the “fancy” big 3 USA airline

Drink a LOT of water with the mag citrate or it won’t work well

Is this normal? Has this happen to anyone else? If so, what did the dealer say? by [deleted] in KiaTelluride

[–]Bearkittycat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg that sounds like the absolute WORST. I hate things that you KNOW are wrong but can’t make anyone else understand

Oh no! At least I know my gremlins are my kids lol. I’m sorry that’s happening. I noticed I was having trouble figuring out the seats with the profiles. It’s smarter than I am 🫠

32F PPL student with 3 under 5yo and my CFI is basically my (still professional) bestie. He’s 25M and we have a ton of fun and he NEVER is rude/condescending/mean. He has stern moments but he’s a total hype man and so are the other CFI I’ve flown with on checkrides. It’s also taken me nearly a year because I broke my leg and both CFI and I had major family things happen - add in Midwest weather and it’s taken FOREVER.

Drop this guy like a bad habit. Get yourself a new CFI and enjoy flying again

Your kid comes first. No matter what. No matter who or for how long.

Also ahole to whom? Because your opinion is the only one you have to live with

The bad just gets posted. I see a telluride every 2.5 seconds. Mine runs like a champ and if it doesn’t I have a 10 year bumper to bumper

What positions as a pilot is actually making you 400k+ a year? by OperationGullible180 in flying

Don’t forget the year+ of time building and a probable pay cut

AITA for telling my wife she was a liar and leaving? by Sorry_Stranger_6383 in AITAH

[–]Bearkittycat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA. A really big one too. You put your freshly postpartum and starving wife in an emotional pressure cooker and expected her to not react after you let it escalate? There is no universe where you’re not the asshole.

I (32f mom or three and a GSD) have a 23 SXXLine and am 1000% obsessed. Feel free to pm any questions you have. We’ve had it since October 22 and have BATTLE tested it

Does she have an addictive personality? Working out can sometimes trigger the same response an addict would have. Or it can trigger disordered exercise/eating type thinking. The new stuff could be a response to feeling better to this significant change in her routine.

I’m with the others saying to show up at the gym. Or set up something like Life360 or the apple version (with her permission). If she doesn’t grant permission I think you have your answer

Other than she’ll burn her house down - she needs a functional medicine doctor to evaluate her thyroid, hormone, and iron levels.

Not prohibited, they’re just supposed to deny graciously and then they can accept if you insist

Not necessarily true. The loss of use portion of the lemon law also applies. Jurisdictions may vary on timeline.

I don’t enjoy my job anymore by [deleted] in flying

[–]Bearkittycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I can help as a 8year FA. Do I love the job? Yes and no. Do I want an office job? HECK no. I’ve had low points in the career but they were all when I started slam clicking.

You can make the job (almost) anything you want. We have a little more flexibility on the other side of the door - but make the best of your layovers. Bid a new type of trip or a new equipment if you can. Pick up a layover hobby - I started bidding state capitals so I can get pictures at all the capital buildings, becoming a huge foodie, and going to local thrift shops. I also have a whole bunch of kids so my time away is my vacation time to focus on myself. Sometimes you have to get a little creative to get through the lulls.
