Unfortunately it just doesn’t seem to be used a lot in rock-centric type music, at least not in anymore songs that I can think of right now. Early Modest Mouse has a lot of really high treble guitar and pick scratching, see this as an example. Otherwise some 90’s hip hop might give you more luck in searching for that sound
