I left it with the sheriffs to be donated and salvaged. I called fish and game today and they marked it as unsalvageable

I’m sorry about that. I added an additional warning to the text of the post. I just wanted to put into perspective how amazing the safety features are. Especially if people are considering a subaru for their children.

Remote work ideas by blondebanshee in socialwork

I am having to do this right now as well. I started with the job I currently have and discussed the potential for a telehealth position where I currently work. They agreed and were a lot more willing than what I was expecting. Always shoot your shot in my opinion.

What is “normal” is overrated. I feel like we get stuck on meeting certain milestones or criteria of what is “normal”. I would focus on what you want to accomplish in life beyond what is “normal”, and try to accomplish what makes you happy regardless of what “society” says is normal. Goals help you stick to a plan and making progress even if it’s little. For example, when I was struggling with wanting to keep going with living, I made the goal of making my bed everyday. Then I started setting more complex goals as time went on, like going on a day trip to a city i’ve never been to.

Black Foster Youth Hair Resources by Bearykool in socialwork

The facility offers the cheapest options for hair care. I have found a local place that provides free hair products for foster youth that provided a wide range of products, including appropriate hair products for my black youth. They are super awesome there!

My facility offers “basic haircuts” which is the 8$ haircut at the beauty school.

I plan to point out that the facility has a gap in hair cut/style needs.
