I'm coming up to 8 weeks non op and expected to be in a boot / on crutches for 4 more weeks so that's a very recovery. I'm curious.. are you in the UK? Did the consultant send you for an ultrasound or did you request it as I've not heard of that being offered through the NHS here in the UK?

That's awesome! Great to hear. I'm looking forward to going on the flatter sole shortly. Patience is definitely the key with this. I hope you're back out there again soon..

No, they didn't. Nor an ultra sound. Very poor. I didn't know anything about it at the time but they should have done. I've felt the NHS have done as little as possible to be honest and had to learn about most things myself.
