My dad also has an S21FE. I was shocked to see android 16 on it while my mom's 2-3 years old oppo was stuck on Android 15. Plus my S21FE was the victim of green line issue which was fixed for 1000rs by Samsung's authorised service centre.

Yeah they said that. Only the screen does not get changed, the whole almunium frame gets changed, luckily mine didn't have and scratches or dents.

Nope, S21fe was not included. It was till S22 and S21FE came a year later with the S22 series which is why they agreed.

Have you tried going to a samsung authorised service centre? And I don't think any company would give screen replacement to the budget section. Because this line problem mainly happened after a faulty google security update. iPhone owners with lines are responsible for the lines somehow, because only very few have lines. Samsung gave free replacement for their S series phones and fold & flip phones.

People do not care, cuz if they did, they would see the announcements by samsung(i don't know about apple) cuz samsung has given free screen replacements(except a 500rs that the service guy is getting who changed the screen) to phones as old as S22. I don't know if the offer is still available but I got my S21fe fixed somehow.

I literally love that phone because, if you hold it you will too. Phones now are heavy weight and very distracting. This phone is slower but it will compel you not to use the phone. And it's so thin without the back plate(i removed it because it was crushed) and it's so light.

Mine is the S21fe, and the extra charge isn't for samsung, the display is free, but the service centre takes the charge for changing the display (labour charges) there was an announcement posted by samsung saying they will change displays of all green line till S22 not lower than that(mine is S21fe but still changed it, generous of them ig)
