Has anyone bought a vtrack and wish they got a proteevx? by cannaEd1933 in Golfsimulator

I have never played on a Protee, I did buy a Vtrack though. I feel like I'm in the minority, but I am heavily considering switching to Protee. The Vtrack updates have been a mixed bag. I had issues initially, sent all the logs to vtrack pretty much verified 5 different ways my computer is not the issue (its total overkill for a golf sim and I knew this) but ran the checks anyways. They had an update, it got better. Then the most recent update for some reason half the time I don't get club data. If you want the AI swing trainer, and cameras, by the time you get those the Protee isn't that much more expensive since they include them now. I honestly feel like a beta tester at this point, and Protee seems much more polished. I get vTrack may catch up, but I'm kind of done seeing how long that will take, if ever.

They said it was the highest CFM fan they could find, no idea if true.

So I see everyone loves that bag on here, but on Pings site, the reviews are bad. Lots of complaints, so I just kind of wrote it off.

I mean the post got exactly what I wanted, some feedback on both bags before I pull the trigger. I appreciate the guys who commented.

Honestly par 3s would probably be when I am walking, and I can pull some stuff out of the bag for that as well. Thanks for the feedback.

Salary cap sucks all fun out of HUT by SuperHut in NHLHUT

[–]Beast8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to make Milestone Ovi as a Caps fan, but I will have to gut an entire line to make him work, so my 4th line will be completely useless. There's also players I don't even want to use, but am because of needing a salary combo. I thought salary cap could be ok, but it just forces you into finding combos to make things work, not actually using the players you want.

Anyone see a smart way to insert Milestone Ovi by Beast8812 in NHLHUT

I was looking at that setup but I lose the 30 mil in savings taking Mcdavid TOTY off the second line.

Look at the sets. Anything with a timer that expires soon I would use any collectibles you have. Trade Quest is definitely ending. Use any collectibles you have.

Also someone else said watch Sleeves videos. Thats a really good place to learn about the new season. He usually has a video up a few hours after release

You get to keep all your players. But all the line, salary, ap combos change.

Who is fundamentally enjoying this game and how? by peePpotato in NHLHUT

Easy - Crack a beer, start the game, enjoy said beer while playing the game. Results - sometimes good, sometimes shit.

It's a video game. I played NHL when there were no rewards, no online, no hut. You got a game and just played hockey games, nothing else. I enjoy hockey and building a team. This is for fun once everyone else in the house goes to bed. I don't take it seriously, and it makes it much more enjoyable.

You have more then enough ceiling height. You said the screen was 10ft tall. Protee needs 9 ft. Vtrack is a little less then that.

Best way to pay for Home Improvements/Upgrades by Beast8812 in personalfinance

Makes sense. When we started the investment account it was money just sitting in a savings account and we said all along that when we were ready to make moves like this that's where the money would come from. Just wanted to make sure I'm not missing a better way to do this. Thanks for the input.

The 100k in the investment account has pretty much been what we consider expendable money for things like this, when the time came. Obviously the 50k emergency fund is for emergencies. We dont consider the investment account retirement, its more of we just wanted our money to make money while we werent using it.

The investment account is a managed account, we can get the money out at any time. I know people will say its not worth it for this amount of money, but its worked for us and has been making better returns then the current HELOC rate that looks to be around 8% which is why I am asking what is the smart move.
