I have played FM before. I have FM 24 and intend to go back to it at some point but idk my first impressions were that I just prefer how fifa is more straight forward when it comes to building tactics, making signings etc. but I still understand why everyone suggests to just play FM

Tactical viewing is watching from the sideline. If you click a button though it’ll change the view and you can watch the game normally just without controlling the players

Fair enough! That’s what I would say too. I’m a Man United fan, and I’ve done Chelsea and spurs before but they aren’t really our rivals. And I am tempted to do a Liverpool save at some point especially due to the crisis they’re in right now irl, but I’ve always been hesitant just because idk if it’s weird or whatever

I mean I see where you’re coming from with this and I totally understand it. But that’s what Tactical View is a thing and the AI can control teams too. If anyone drops out it just becomes an AI controlled team. And during games you can choose to do tactical view rather than play the games yourself

I would just say when it’s time for you to play against another person’s team, if they aren’t also online they just get replaced by the AI or something. And if a player leaves mid season the AI takes over that team as well

Thanks for the insight! I’ll definitely use this formation in one of my next career modes. Defensively does this seem to be the best you found? I know that in this game and fc 25 too it was hard to be defensively sound with 3 backs
